What Makes Me Blush?!

Whooh! Guess who's back?! OMG! I kind of miss my blog that's why I'm back! Weeee!

Now back to the topic. On this blog post I am going to show you guys the blushes that I own and love to use. I will also show you the swatches of each blush.

Let's get started! Here are the blushes that I own as of the moment. I am not actually a blush-buff. For I am always in a hurry nowadays, I would just grab my liquid blush, put a little on my cheeks then blend with my fingers and I am good to go. HAHAHA!

1. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Tipsy
2. The Face Shop My Lips Eat Cherry in Juicy Red
3. Majolica Majorca Cream de Cheek in Kichigo Cream (RD411)
4. Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Plum Wine

1. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Tipsy. This is my favorite blush of all time (states why it's my no. 1 in the list). I came to know this wonderful product from my favorite beauty blogger Marlena, the Make-up Geek herself. According to her, Tarte's Tipsy is suitable for medium skin tone. Encourage by her, I bought it online from French Macaroons Online Boutique for Php 1,400. I know it is a bit pricey but the blush is so pigmented a little goes a long way. It claims to stay on your cheeks for 12 long hours but due to the humidity of this country, the blush usually stays for a good 7-8 hours without retouching (still a long time, I guess).

2. The Face Shop My Lips Eat Cherry in Juicy Red. This blush is my everyday blush. I love how you could easily put dabs of it on your cheeks and just blend away with your fingers. It blends really well on my cheeks. Plus the fact that it only cost Php 300, you can use the tube for a good month or two. I love this blush so much that I hoard a little, having 1 more unopened tube just in case the other one runs out fast.

3. Majolica Majorca Cream de Cheek in Kichigo Cream (RD411). I got this blush from an event for the Majolica Majorca that I attended to because I was chosen to be part of team Marj Sia for a battle (that we won). It is so pigmented and easily blends on my skin. Also love the unusual packaging which is so chic and a unique one.

 4. Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Plum Wine. My sister got this blush for me (another gift from the fairy godmother, HAHAHA). It is actually a good cream blush that claims to be lightweight like a powder blush. I love that this blush has no harsh smell on to it. It also complements my skin tone very well that it is so natural looking.

How about you, got a blush collection? Share it with me please! :)

An Elf of E.L.F - Make-up Haul

When I was just starting on make-up (that was about December last year), I am on the look for a good brand with good products but won't hurt my wallet that much (as I am unemployed that time, HAHAHA!). In my search, I've been to different department stores and even drug stores. Then I find this small kiosk of E.L.F. that catches my eyes because of their lovely products! In an instant I was able to buy some because I find the products really nice plus the fact that most of them cost only Php 129.00 (isn't that cheap for a very good product?). From then on, I am always in love with E.L.F.( which stands for Eyes, Lips and Face)!

Now, look at my growing collection of E.L.F products! Planning of getting more soon because I still lack some of their good buys!

Brightening Eye Colors. Among all the products of ELF, I can say that these are my favorite. Well, the picture shows how much I love them for me to get all available color here in the Philippines (how I wish they will release more colors)! I actually got them in different because I want to create an eye make-up that would easily go with what I am wearing. Plus the fact that I love the size of each palette which makes it easy to bring everywhere I want to go! I also love how each one has 4 different colors that can be use as 2-color-combination or a 4-color-combination-smokey-eye effect. This product for me is 10/10!

Beauty-To-Go Palette. This is my 2nd most adored product! I love how this palette is complete with the most essential make-up I need everyday for the eyes, lips, and face! It is very easy to bring everywhere and eats only a little space in my bag. I love that I have it in 2 colors (actually they have a lot and how I wish I can have them all, still drooling over the net each time I open their US website), 1 for daytime good for strolling the mall or by the beach and 1 for nighttime good for partying. And for the rating, again 10/10!

Everyday Eye Palette. One of the very first palette I ever bought for my self, this complete eyeshadow set just blow my heart out after I first tried using. I also love that it has instructions on how to put eye make-up (as I am a newbie), I can say that it is really very helpful. I can't think of anything bad the product have, from the quality of the shadow, to the packaging, and of course the price. For a Php 399.00, 12 lovely colors that I can actually use everyday that is really a bargain. So for me I'll rate this at again 10/10!

Little Black Beautybook Eyeshadow Edition. My least favorite of them all, just because I hardly use them because all shadows are shimmers which is not my type for eye make-up. Well, my reason for buying this is, before I still don't know anything about make-up and Php 400.00 for 48 colors (about Php 9.00 per color), that's cheap.

Eyelid Primer and Eye Primer & Liner Sealer. They are my everyday eye primer. But depends on my mood which primer will I actually use, because they are both really good. My shadows stay all day and don't crease even after a day of events happened! As to the liner sealer, I don't use it even one because to be honest I don't know its use (poor me, HAHAHA!). Waterproof Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara, again another favorite E.L.F product! I just love it that I use it everyday and my day would be incomplete if I left it at home. Rating for these products, 10/10!

Eyeshadow Brush and Blending Eye Brush. Two of my first ever and most favorite eye brushes! They are the ones that I use when I was just experimenting on eye make-up. I love that the hairs are so soft and can catch good amount of eyeshadow. These would have been 10/10 for me but what I didn't like about them is that the hair does easily fall off when you squeeze them after cleaning. But still a very good brush though, 8/10 for both brushes!

How about you, which E.L.F. products are you using?!

My Everyday-Must-Have on Makeup

“The most beautiful makeup of a woman is passion. But cosmetics are easier to buy.”
                                                                                                                          - Yves Saint-Laurent

As an ordinary person in this extraordinary world, confidence is one key to out-stand the other. That everyday could be a runway to show them the great person that I am. But a runway can also be battle field where your weapons are vital. For me, the most vital weapon aside from a good heart is confidence. And as Tyra Banks had once said, I also love the confidence that makeup gives me. So everyday, I made sure I always have my kikay kit with me.

So here are my "Everyday-Must-Have":

1. Charm Holiday Brush Set
2. Covergirl TRUblend Pressed Powder in Translucent Honey 3
3. E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color in Butternut
4. ChapStick Classic in Strawberry

As to my everyday brush set, I am in-love with Charm Holiday Brush Set. For me, they are the 2nd most lovable brush set (next to Charm Travel Pro) that I've used. I bought this at the last Cosmetologie Fair. There, I met the beautiful Sophie Uy of Beauty and Minerals.

My everyday pressed powder is from Covergirl! This is the first time I actually bought and used a pressed powder. I love how it provides light coverage on my face giving a natural-look I needed everyday.

For my eye make-up, I use E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color in Butternut. This palette is very ideal for day look. It is composed of warm neutral shades perfect for everyday use. You can create simple 2-color combination to 4-color smokey eye. I usually use the number 2 shade over my lids; number 3 over the outer-V; number 4 on the crease; and shade number 1 over the brow bone.

For my lips, I usually use Chap Stick Classic in Strawberry! I seldom use lipsticks or if I have to I always use this as my base.

How about you, what are your everyday make-up must-have?!
