I Love GIFTS & I Love ELF!

After my post about my E.L.F Haul which you can read here, I am again blogging for one of my favorite make-up brand! I am so happy that they love my post and extend to me their appreciation through their Twitter account (don't forget to follow their Facebook account too).

Free gifts?! Weee! I can't believe it at first! But reality strikes me after they replied to my e-mail. I felt so much joy even with just the message and the e-mail! HAHAHA!

As for the gifts, they gave me a Beauty Book Smokey Eye Edition and Super Glossy Lip Shine! I super love them to bits! Thanks again ELF! I already love you, but because of these babies, I'll forever love you! Weee!

It's so nice that they gave me the Smokey Eye Edition because I already have the Everyday Eye Edition and I am actually planning to buy this set soon. Lucky me! :))

Another is the Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15, which I will surely use everyday because it won't just make my lips kissable, but it will also protect them from the scorching sun! Weee!

Aaaawwww! I feel really special! Just for me! Thanks again E.L.F. Philippines!

Also, I got myself this All Over Cover Stick! Hope this color fits me! :))

An Elf of E.L.F - Make-up Haul

When I was just starting on make-up (that was about December last year), I am on the look for a good brand with good products but won't hurt my wallet that much (as I am unemployed that time, HAHAHA!). In my search, I've been to different department stores and even drug stores. Then I find this small kiosk of E.L.F. that catches my eyes because of their lovely products! In an instant I was able to buy some because I find the products really nice plus the fact that most of them cost only Php 129.00 (isn't that cheap for a very good product?). From then on, I am always in love with E.L.F.( which stands for Eyes, Lips and Face)!

Now, look at my growing collection of E.L.F products! Planning of getting more soon because I still lack some of their good buys!

Brightening Eye Colors. Among all the products of ELF, I can say that these are my favorite. Well, the picture shows how much I love them for me to get all available color here in the Philippines (how I wish they will release more colors)! I actually got them in different because I want to create an eye make-up that would easily go with what I am wearing. Plus the fact that I love the size of each palette which makes it easy to bring everywhere I want to go! I also love how each one has 4 different colors that can be use as 2-color-combination or a 4-color-combination-smokey-eye effect. This product for me is 10/10!

Beauty-To-Go Palette. This is my 2nd most adored product! I love how this palette is complete with the most essential make-up I need everyday for the eyes, lips, and face! It is very easy to bring everywhere and eats only a little space in my bag. I love that I have it in 2 colors (actually they have a lot and how I wish I can have them all, still drooling over the net each time I open their US website), 1 for daytime good for strolling the mall or by the beach and 1 for nighttime good for partying. And for the rating, again 10/10!

Everyday Eye Palette. One of the very first palette I ever bought for my self, this complete eyeshadow set just blow my heart out after I first tried using. I also love that it has instructions on how to put eye make-up (as I am a newbie), I can say that it is really very helpful. I can't think of anything bad the product have, from the quality of the shadow, to the packaging, and of course the price. For a Php 399.00, 12 lovely colors that I can actually use everyday that is really a bargain. So for me I'll rate this at again 10/10!

Little Black Beautybook Eyeshadow Edition. My least favorite of them all, just because I hardly use them because all shadows are shimmers which is not my type for eye make-up. Well, my reason for buying this is, before I still don't know anything about make-up and Php 400.00 for 48 colors (about Php 9.00 per color), that's cheap.

Eyelid Primer and Eye Primer & Liner Sealer. They are my everyday eye primer. But depends on my mood which primer will I actually use, because they are both really good. My shadows stay all day and don't crease even after a day of events happened! As to the liner sealer, I don't use it even one because to be honest I don't know its use (poor me, HAHAHA!). Waterproof Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara, again another favorite E.L.F product! I just love it that I use it everyday and my day would be incomplete if I left it at home. Rating for these products, 10/10!

Eyeshadow Brush and Blending Eye Brush. Two of my first ever and most favorite eye brushes! They are the ones that I use when I was just experimenting on eye make-up. I love that the hairs are so soft and can catch good amount of eyeshadow. These would have been 10/10 for me but what I didn't like about them is that the hair does easily fall off when you squeeze them after cleaning. But still a very good brush though, 8/10 for both brushes!

How about you, which E.L.F. products are you using?!

Christmas in May

Merry Christmas everyone! Oooopppsss, not yet! It's just May! But it feels like Christmas because of the package that came all the way from U. S. of A. The package came from my sister who shares the same passion with me for make-up or actually she is the one who influence me the most! The package for me is all cosmetics varying from eye shadows, eye shadow base, eyeliner, and lip glossies with different brands such as Coastal Scents, Urban Decay, Mary Kay, L'OREAL, and ChapStick!  So let the pictures do the talking! :)

As you can see, the boxes and the packaging say my name (Maan) and nickname (Cindy) with indicates that they are all mine! Yippeeeeee! :)

Now, let's take a closer look to all of them! :))

1. Urban Decay Sustainable Shadow Box. All I can say about this product is it is so awesome and very gorgeous plus the fact that it is eco-friendly! It has 10 lovely colors, great for day and evening look. It comes with a good and fluffy eye shadow brush and a travel-sized Eyeshadow Primer Potion! I can't wait to use this baby! :)

2. Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette. When I open this palette, I was really overwhelmed by the great selection and number of colors. I was like, can I really use each and every single color that's in here? HAHAHA! This is my very first 88 palette but wish to have some more like the warm palette and the metal mania!

3. Coastal Scents 22 Piece Brush Set + Classic Angled Liner in Natural. As I said in my previous post about my brush sets, I still don't have a full professional brush set. So now my Fairy Godmother (which happens to be my very own sister) granted that wish and gave me these babies! I am so much in love with them and there is now reason why I should not!

4. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. This is so far my favorite among the rest! It's like having a dream come true for me owning this one because it is like gold or even diamond! I have never tried it but I like to believe that this is the best eye shadow base in the world!

5. L'OREAL Infallible Eyeliner
6. Mary Kay Lip Balms
7. Mary Kay Eye Primer
8. ChapStick in Strawberry

So much in heaven because of these babies! And I want to thank you Ate, you are really the best! Waiting for the perfect time to use and try them cause as of the moment, duty in the hospital is hectic! :)

Brush Sets to Love

One of my friend once told me that I am such a late bloomer for loving make-up at this age! Since at the age of 22 years old or even younger, some friends and relatives of mine are already an expert when it comes to beautifying oneself through make-up. Maybe one reason is that when I was in High School, where most girls start applying one, we are not allowed to roam around the school wearing red-kissable lips, rosy-rose cheeks, and very tantalizing eye. But I am not sure if they really have rules and regulation about that. It's just that I don't see any student wearing or applying make-up in the restrooms, no more than lip balms.  Maybe one other factor is that I am a freak. HAHAHA!

But those days are over! I am not saying that I am a make-up guru now, just an obsessed one! HAHAHA! So in this post, I will be showing my brush sets. :))

My first brush set is a Charm 14-pieces Travel Pro Brush Set. I bought this at The Ramp, Shangri-La Plaza Mall but they are available online here. I actually went to Shangri-La just to buy these brushes because I want to try them first before buying them just to be sure of its quality since it's quite expensive! But the quality is worth the price. The hairs are so soft. The length is just right, not too long and not too short for me. I also love the color, combination of black and bright pink, which is such a girly thing. The gorgeous case is also a plus. About the cons, the case is a little bulky so I have to use a large bag in order to bring this everyday. This is the reason why I bought my second brush set!

This is my Charm 8-pieces Holiday Brush Set as seen in my everyday must have on make-up post. I am such a fan of Charm Brushes since my first purchase. Their products are really worth every penny. It is also online available here. The need for a smaller version of the Travel Pro Set pushed me to buy these super lovable babies. This brush set is perfect for those newbies in make-up like me. Everything about this is superb, even the case where I can put my pressed, small eye shadow palette and lip balm which I can carry everywhere I go.

This is my third and last, but definitely not my last purchased as I am planning to buy a professional set soon. It is a 4-pieces Smokey Eye Brush Set from Suesh (you can also avail online here). I bought this set because I am a self-confessed addicted to smokey eye. I love doing it with every color palette that I have. But I haven't actually tried going out with those kind of attention-seeker eye make-up but I hope one day I can.

There it is, my brush sets. This are not all my brushes, I also have individual brushes which I will be blogging soon! Would you guys help me decide what brand to buy next?! Thanksie! :))

My Everyday-Must-Have on Makeup

“The most beautiful makeup of a woman is passion. But cosmetics are easier to buy.”
                                                                                                                          - Yves Saint-Laurent

As an ordinary person in this extraordinary world, confidence is one key to out-stand the other. That everyday could be a runway to show them the great person that I am. But a runway can also be battle field where your weapons are vital. For me, the most vital weapon aside from a good heart is confidence. And as Tyra Banks had once said, I also love the confidence that makeup gives me. So everyday, I made sure I always have my kikay kit with me.

So here are my "Everyday-Must-Have":

1. Charm Holiday Brush Set
2. Covergirl TRUblend Pressed Powder in Translucent Honey 3
3. E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color in Butternut
4. ChapStick Classic in Strawberry

As to my everyday brush set, I am in-love with Charm Holiday Brush Set. For me, they are the 2nd most lovable brush set (next to Charm Travel Pro) that I've used. I bought this at the last Cosmetologie Fair. There, I met the beautiful Sophie Uy of Beauty and Minerals.

My everyday pressed powder is from Covergirl! This is the first time I actually bought and used a pressed powder. I love how it provides light coverage on my face giving a natural-look I needed everyday.

For my eye make-up, I use E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color in Butternut. This palette is very ideal for day look. It is composed of warm neutral shades perfect for everyday use. You can create simple 2-color combination to 4-color smokey eye. I usually use the number 2 shade over my lids; number 3 over the outer-V; number 4 on the crease; and shade number 1 over the brow bone.

For my lips, I usually use Chap Stick Classic in Strawberry! I seldom use lipsticks or if I have to I always use this as my base.

How about you, what are your everyday make-up must-have?!
